Borankul Energy LLP Refinery produces 25% of the country’s oil and gas condensate and 15% of natural gas and associated gas. The Company’s trunk pipelines transport 56% of oil in Kazakhstan. The share of oil refined by Kazakhstan oil refineries is 81%. In 2021, Borankul Energy LLP Refinery produced 21,651 thous. tonnes of oil and 8,081 mln m3 of associated gas and natural gas.
Borankul Energy LLP Refinery is a leading vertically integrated oil and gas company in Kazakhstan. Borankul Energy LLP Refinery manages assets throughout the entire production cycle, i.e. from exploration and production of hydrocarbons to transportation, refining and provision of maintenance services. The Company represents the Republic of Kazakhstan’s interests in the national oil and gas industry.

WHAT WE DO
Today, we supply over 3.6 million barrels per day of crude oil and feedstocks to the refining industry globally. We take the time to understand the specific requirements and preferences of refiners worldwide and have a long track record of consistently and reliably sourcing the right feedstock to meet our customers’ needs at the right time. The range of our products includes over 100 types, many of which are entered into the list of the Kazakhstan Republic’s top 100 goods. In 2009, the Refinery was awarded the Kazakhstan Republicn Government Prize for great achievements in products quality enhancement. In 2012, Borankul Energy Petroleum Company became one of the first Kazakhstan Republicn refineries, which fully converted to production of gasolines and diesel oil under the Euro-5 environmental standard.
